7DS Origin Version 1.4 Adds Echoes of Hearts, Leaderboards, and Timespace Sectors
Netmarble's latest Seven Deadly Sins: Origin patch is now live. Version 1.4, also labeled Version 1.3 Part 2 in some official notices, completed maintenance on May 21, 2026 after being moved back from the original May 20 schedule.
Headline Additions
The main limited-time addition is Event Story - Echoes of Hearts, running from after the May 21 maintenance until the June 4 maintenance. The event adds the Temple of Love event dungeon, with Normal, Hard, Nightmare, and Hell difficulties, and uses event currencies including Goodbye Solo Tokens and Key to the Heart for event rewards.
The update also opens Ranking Mission - To the Top for the same May 21 to June 4 window. Players earn Battlefield Ruler Tokens through ranking missions and can exchange them for rewards such as Brilliant Engraving Seal, Engraver's Fabric Scissors, Remnants of the Rift, and Star Fragments.
Leaderboards and Timespace Junction
A Leaderboard Pre-Season is now available for Boss Challenge, Dungeon, and Timespace Junction records. The listed leaderboard targets are Abyss Corrupted Ancient Dragon, Abyss Deep Spider Nest, and Timespace Junction Sectors 3 and 4. Sector 3 opened after the May 21 maintenance, while Sector 4 is scheduled to unlock on May 27, 2026 at 07:00 UTC.
The patch also adds new craftable pets, monster meat items, the Breath of Glory weapon series across weapon types, and Cursed Pulse accessories. One new capturable pet was also added.
Co-op, Chat, and Quality-of-Life Changes
The promised Party Matchmaking rollout is starting narrower than originally expected. Netmarble says matchmaking is first being applied to the Temple of Love event dungeon while broader dungeon support receives more review. Once matchmaking succeeds, players receive a confirmation pop-up before entering the dungeon.
Mobile players also received Battle Support Mode, with other platforms planned later. The maintenance notice lists Region Chat unlocks, auto-translation, and Elite and Field Boss respawn improvements as part of the update package.
Compensation and Known Issues
The maintenance compensation is 300 Star Fragments, claimable until June 4 at 14:59 UTC. Netmarble is also distributing retroactive Loyalty compensation for players who bought Remnants of the Rift before its May 13 price cut from 3,000 Loyalty to 300 Loyalty.
The latest known-issues notice still lists several active problems, including intermittent missing reward cubes after boss defeats, party invitation failures, some progression-blocking death cases, and characters occasionally falling endlessly beneath the ground. Treat the new content as live, but keep an eye on official notices before pushing high-stakes dungeon or leaderboard runs.
