Best Teams Guide — Seven Deadly Sins: Origin
Best Darkness Team
Roster: Meliodas (Main DPS), Bug (Sub-DPS), Tioreh (Healer), Tristan (Support). Rotation & Why it Works: The Darkness element is highly unique in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin because it cannot build its own Burst Gauge. To successfully play a Darkness team, you must first activate a different element's Burst and then use a Darkness attack to overwrite it into a Darkness Burst. In this rotation, you use Tristan and Tioreh to quickly trigger a Fire Burst. Once the Burst is active, switch to Bug to group enemies together using his pull mechanics, and land a Darkness attack to overwrite the Fire Burst. Finally, swap to Meliodas to safely wipe out the centralized enemies with massive nukes while the Darkness Burst multiplier is active.
Best Fire Team
Roster: Guila (Main DPS), Tristan (Sub-DPS), Tioreh (Healer), Hendrickson (Support). (Note: Slater can replace Hendrickson for a completely free-to-play friendly setup). Rotation & Why it Works: This is one of the strongest early-game setups and serves as a highly reliable foundation. The team revolves around using Guila and Tristan to rapidly generate Fire Bursts. Tioreh provides essential healing to keep the shared team HP bar topped off, while Hendrickson applies defensive utility and universal damage buffs to ensure the team sustains through prolonged encounters.
Best Earth Team
Roster: Diane (Bruiser/Main DPS), Elaine (Support), King (Buffer), Hendrickson (Healer). Rotation & Why it Works: Earth's combat identity relies on delivering big damage during an Earth Burst while maintaining an incredibly solid defense. King is absolutely essential here; his Wand build acts as the premier Earth buffer, providing up to an 80% Attack buff for Earth units. Your rotation focuses on Elaine triggering the Earth Bursts rapidly. Diane serves as your frontline bruiser, applying the "Petrify" status effect which freezes enemies and forces them to take 50% more Physical and Earth damage. Hendrickson rounds out the composition by providing necessary healing to back up Diane's aggressive playstyle.
Best Wind Team
Roster: Elaine (Support), Tristan (Sub-DPS), Howzer (DPS), Hendrickson (Support/Healer). Rotation & Why it Works: The Wind element's gameplan is heavily focused on landing massive critical damage during Burst windows. The rotation begins with Tristan applying "Bleed," which damages enemies over time and amplifies the team's Wind damage. Elaine acts as a Burst battery to quickly fill the gauge and trigger the Wind Burst. Once the Burst is active and the enemy is bleeding, you swap to Howzer to unleash his enhanced skills, taking full advantage of his massive critical damage multipliers.
Best Cold/Ice Team
Roster: Mannie (Main DPS), Jericho (Sub-DPS), Slater (Support/Debuffer), Hendrickson (Healer). Rotation & Why it Works: This composition transforms Mannie into a devastating carry during a Cold Burst, provided you invest heavily in her Crit Chance through gear. The rotation starts with Jericho, who uses her incredibly fast Dual Swords to trigger the Cold Burst. Once the Burst is active, swap to Slater. His Axe applies "Deep Wound," a universal debuff that significantly increases the damage the enemy takes by 25% without any elemental restrictions. Finally, switch to Mannie to spam her "Frost Strike" Normal Skill and obliterate the debuffed enemy.
Best Holy Team
Roster: King (Main DPS), Elaine (Support), Mannie (Support), Hendrickson (Healer). Rotation & Why it Works: In this composition, King shifts from an Earth buffer to the star Holy damage dealer using his Staff. His kit revolves around building "Bloom" stacks, with each attack increasing his own Attack power. The strategy is a simple but highly effective loop: use Elaine and Mannie to activate skills, fill the team's resources, and reset cooldowns. Once set up, swap to King so he can endlessly attack, quickly reach maximum Bloom stacks, and unleash his enhanced Holy damage Ultimate.
