Overview & Lore
Jericho is an SSR-rarity character who was once a Holy Knight of Liones and served as the mentor to Lancelot. For reasons currently unknown, she shifted her allegiance to become a Holy Knight of Camelot under King Arthur's rule and now finds herself in open conflict with Liones. She is considered one of the best DPS and Sub-DPS characters in the game due to her extremely fast attacks and Burst Gauge generation.
Best Weapons and Element
Jericho primarily utilizes the Cold (Ice) element, and she has three distinct weapon choices that drastically alter her role:
- Dual Swords (Best Overall / Burst DPS): This is by far her strongest weapon for dealing massive damage and charging Bursts quickly. Activating her "Frozen Saber" skill boosts her Critical Rate by 30% and causes her normal attacks to teleport her directly behind the enemy. This allows you to safely spam basic attacks, trigger back-attack damage bonuses, and fill the Burst Gauge in record time.
- Lance / Spear (Best Support): If you need a defensive hybrid character, the Lance provides excellent team utility. With this loadout, Jericho can grant her team barriers, boost Fire and Earth elemental resistances, and effectively freeze enemies.
- Rapier (Situational DPS): The Rapier offers high skill uptime and guaranteed critical hits, but it requires significant setup. To reach its full potential, the enemy must already be afflicted with the Chilled, Shielded, or Frozen status, which can be difficult to maintain consistently.
Best Gear Set and Armor
- Best Gear Set: Black Flame Wings. The bonus critical damage provided by this weapon set synergizes flawlessly with Jericho's incredibly fast attack speed and high innate crit rate.
- Best Costume: Holy Knight with the Star-Shaped Visor. This costume gives Jericho the "Ice Sculptor" passive, ensuring that every back-attack she lands increases the Burst Gauge and reduces the enemy's Cold Burst Resistance for 10 seconds. This pushes her Burst-charging capabilities to eye-watering levels.
Best Team Compositions
Jericho is incredibly versatile and fits well into almost any composition that needs rapid Burst generation.
- Optimal Sub-DPS Burst Team: Meliodas (Main DPS), Jericho (Sub-DPS), Mannie (Support 1), Diane (Support 2). In this setup, Jericho activates "Frozen Sabre" to attack from behind and quickly fill the Burst Gauge. You then switch to Mannie to stack debuffs with her Ultimate, and finally swap to Meliodas to obliterate the enemy while the Burst is active.
- Best Cold Synergy Team: Mannie (Main DPS), Jericho (Burst DPS / Sub-DPS), King (Healer), Elaine (Support). This composition maximizes Ice elemental synergy. Mannie leads the primary damage output, Jericho manages the burst windows, and King and Elaine keep the team alive.
- F2P / Solo Carry Team: Jericho (Main DPS), Mannie (Sub-DPS), Hendrickson (Support), Tioreh (Healer). If you lack Meliodas, you can use Jericho as your primary damage dealer. You simply DPS with Jericho, swap to Mannie to use her Ultimate while Jericho's abilities are on cooldown, and rinse and repeat.
Key Playstyle Tips
- Master Back-Attack Positioning: Jericho's ability to teleport behind enemies during the "Frozen Saber" window is her defining mechanic. This positioning triggers critical back-attack bonuses and keeps her in a safe range, but you must remain highly aware of bosses that possess rear-facing Area of Effect (AoE) attacks.
- The Burst Battery Rotation: Do not rely on Jericho's Dual Swords when her skills are on cooldown, as her damage drops off significantly. Your core combat loop should be: activate "Frozen Sabre" and "Ice Twin Dance" -> attack from behind to fill the Burst Gauge -> swap to your main DPS or supports once her skills end.
- Ice Floor Utility: Outside of combat, Jericho has a unique traversal skill that freezes water. This creates a temporary ice path that your team can walk across, though it will consume stamina and prevents you from using mounts.
